Lawyers Use Social Media Posts to Vet Potential Jurors

(WBAP/KLIF News)  Your Instagram and Facebook accounts are fair game if you’re in the jury box. Lawyers may look over your posts to determine your opinions on issues related to their case, and they can take into account anything that’s public. Britta Stanton is an attorney at Lynn Pinker Cox and Hurst in Dallas. Some judges may give potential jurors the opportunity to mark their accounts as private after reporting for duty, but others may not.
