Bill-optBill Clark grew up in Tyler, Texas. He attended Tyler Jr. College and Oklahoma Baptist University on a trumpet and voice scholarship. After graduation, he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth and graduated with a Masters in Religious Education (Counseling). Today, Bill and his wife, Lynn, live in Frisco, Texas, a Suburb of Dallas. They have two children and seven grandchildren. Faith and family are the foundations of Bill’s financial planning practice.

Bill entered the estate planning and financial services industry in 1980. Working diligently, he completed the basic and advanced certifications in financial consulting. These are the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. Both are from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. At the same time, Bill completed his doctoral work in psychology and counseling at Cornerstone University.That was 26 years ago, and now Bill heads his own financial planning firm, Clark Financial Group, Inc., based in Frisco with offices in Richardson, Arlington, Grapevine and Fort Worth, Texas.

As a financial advisor, Bill advises people on retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, investments, money management, and insurance needs. His passion is helping pre-retirees and retired folks preserve and protect the assets they’ve worked so hard to accumulate. Bill helps his clients avoid paying unnecessary income tax, tax on social security and estate taxes. Helping clients increase their spendable income while preserving their assets is another important part of his practice. Finally, he works with his senior clients to help them avoid Medicaid spend- down of their hard earned assets should they need to turn to a nursing home for care.
